A walk across "Unter den Linden"

No other street in Berlin has as much to offer as the magnificent boulevard "Unter den Linden". Here you can find some of the most famous sights in the world, architectural masterpieces, and historical abysses during the times of National Socialism.
Famous for its old linden trees that form a fragrant green roof in summer, this street is not only an impressive boulevard but also a street that embodies the history and culture of Germany.
The walk is best started at Alexanderplatz, where the street is still called Karl-Liebknecht-Straße. You then drift towards the Brandenburg Gate. You will pass some of Berlin's most important sights: the TV Tower, the magnificent Berlin Cathedral, the Lustgarten, the State Opera, the newly opened Humboldt Forum, the Neue Wache, the old National Gallery, Bebelplatz, and end at the majestic Brandenburg Gate.
