Camelback Mountain is a Phoenix landmark and a popular spot for hiking enthusiasts. The summit trails, including the Echo Canyon Trail and Cholla Trail, challenge hikers and reward them with breathtaking views of the city and the surrounding desert. The mountain got its name because of its resemblance to a lying camel. Hiking early is recommended to beat the heat.
