Tegel Airport

Tegel Airport, also known as Berlin-Tegel Airport "Otto Lilienthal", was the main airport of Berlin from 1948 until the opening of Berlin Brandenburg Airport (BER) in October 2020. It was known for its hexagonal terminal structure and played an important role in Berlin's aviation history.

The Soviet Memorial in Berlin, also known as the "Soviet Memorial Tiergarten", is a monument erected in honor of the Red Army soldiers who conquered Berlin during the Second World War in April-May 1945 and liberated the city from Nazi rule. It was inaugurated on July 20, 1949 and is a place of remembrance for the fallen and a symbol of the Soviet Union's role in the liberation of Berlin.

Reich Aviation Ministry

The Reich Aviation Ministry (RLM) was a ministry in the German Reich that was responsible for the aviation industry and the air force during the Second World War. It was located in Berlin and was demolished after the war. Today, a park commemorates the site of the former building.
